The subject of the sex has been on my mind a whole lot lately. I have friends and co-workers telling me all of their ideas and guesses. I would say right now that MOST people are thinking boy. I wont say right now what I think. But, we have 2 1/2 weeks to find out! I am really hoping that peanut is in the right position and all that! I am anxious.
The month of November brings some exciting times! A week and Tina and Brittanie will be here. I am excited to hang out with them for a few days.
Then, the big seeing the baby day.
THEN, Thanksgiving! I get Thanksgiving Day and the day after off, so that will be nice. A 4 day weekend.
Tomorrow marks 16 weeks....4 weeks and we are half way there! I watched some baby videos this week of what happens to your baby immediately after delivery. It made me a little teary to watch them, thinking about how REAL all of this is! I have been a little emotional lately. I hear that goes with pregnancy. A little irritable too to be honest. Work has been one of the last places I want to spend my time. I have so much of my personal life on my mind all the time.
OH, I DID read today that peanut may be able to hear us now. That is kinda fun. so, now we can really start talking to him/her!!!

Peanut-bump Pictures!!!!
I have been "feeling" pregnant the past couple of days. I can really feel my stomach stretching and growing. It is such a weird feeling. Like something his pressing down on the bottom of my belly. Which, in reality, i guess there is! So, I had to post the first bump pictures because it is becoming more obvious to me lately that I am not only just getting chubbier! :)
I did not feel real great this past weekend. I woke up both days early with headaches, and nausea. No fun. I guess that part is not over yet. 2 more days till I hit 15 weeks!

Heartbeat
Happy 2nd trimester! :) We had a doctor's appointment today, and heard the sweet little heartbeat. It's so cute. We did not see a picture this time, but I guess I didnt expect to. I have to wait to see the next picture until November 20th. Only about a month now! o man! I cant wait to find out what we are having!
Pretty soon I will post baby bump pictures. I haven't wanted to post any yet, until it really looks like something other than a little extra chubb. My pants are becoming a little tighter around the waist, and I finally bought my first pair of maternity jeans the other day. It was much nicer feeling to sit down in those stretchy jeans than in my regular jeans, which i have been unbuttoning when I sit.
Momma has been feeling pretty good these days. Again, so so thankful for that. I just pray it continues. I did have to get a flu shot today. I really wasnt sure if I wanted to, but my doctor was very very persistant. She really encourages all her patients to get it. She told me that the majority of people dying from the flu right now are pregnant women. Good thing I work with children, huh? Not really. I pray parents are selfless enough this season to stay home with their kiddos when they are even a little bit sick! For all of us!
Anyway, looking forward to whatever 2nd trimester has for us!

13 Weeks!!!
Baby Peanut is now 13 weeks!!! And momma only has a week to go before beginning 2nd trimester! Pretty exciting, although the fist trimester has not been as bad as I have heard it could be! :)
Here is what I read today about Baby:
I am feeling a lot better now than I was the rest of this week. I did go into work yesterday, which was OK, but a little tough. I was just so exhausted! I came home early to snuggle in bed and watch You've Got Mail. :)
I have a few things to look forward to in the next month!
- 1 week until my next doc appointment. look forward to more news on baby.
-4 weeks until Brittanie and Tina come in for a visit! Excited about some of that girl time!
- 5 weeks until we find out the sex of our first child!!!!!!!!! I might just be counting down the days until then. I am so anxious! :)

Sick again
Just in case any of you are reading today.......
I woke up yesterday (sunday) morning feeling a little funny. Anyway, I ate breakfast and was fine, but then later took a nap, woke up, and ate soup. I have not kept anything down since breakfast yesterday , not even fluids. I got a little worried this morning when i woke up still so sick. So, i called my doctor and she prescribed me an anti nausea med. If it doesnt work by then end of the day, they suggest i go into the ER because they will need to hydrate me.
I think it is so weird that I dont have morning sickness vomiting, but the last 2 times i have gotten sick, it has been so bad. This time seems worse. I feel like I have every symptom for the flu but no fever, as far as I know. I am hoping it is nothing too bad. I want to eat, but am a little scared to. I will update at the end of the day or sometime tomorrow. Thanks for prayers.

12 Weeks!
Happy 12 weeks today!!! That means I only have a week or 2 left until I am in my 2nd trimester! Baby peanut is about the size of a lime now. It grows so fast. I got this next bit of information from a website...
"This week marks a turning point for your baby. At 12 weeks pregnant, the herculean task of developing new bodily structures is nearing an end as most of your baby's systems are fully formed. Now comes the maintenance phase, during which your fetus' systems continue to mature for the next 28 weeks and the organs get to work. "
As for momma, I am doing well. Still very tired quite often! I have been feeling as if I dont ever really get rested. But, I am still so thankful for my health. Other than that, there isnt much else new going on! We have our next appointment on the 21st. I am hoping I will hear a heartbeat again.
