11 Weeks

Tomorrow is the day baby turns 11 weeks. ( Funny how they have it so precise, huh? They have to though to determine an approx due date. )
ANYWAYS, Peanut will be growing hair folecules and fingernail beds this week. And gender organs. Although, we do not find out the sex for a while longer. I am finally "feeling" a bit pregnant in the mid-section. My belly is growing, and I am starting to see it. Kind of fun. Not a major bump yet, but still somethin.
I've been feeling good, too, which I am super duper thankful for. Last week, I was feeling a little nauseous and got some headaches, but still made it to work. I am still very tired at the end of the day, and do what I can to get a great night's sleep. Thanks for prayers. :)

Thank you if you have been praying. I have not been sick again since last Tuesday. I am thinking I had a little bug of some kind. I am very, very thankful that I am doing well. I do not take my health for granted right now! Peanut is doing ok, as far as I know. I know he/she is growing, because I am becoming more and more exhausted these days. 8:00 or 8:30 seems like a great bedtime during the week! :)
PS! Today was about 65 degrees in the Austin-area! I am very happy about that. It rained all day, but I will take rain if it means cooler weather and grass that is actually GREEN! Good riddance, SUMMER!!!!!!

a prayer request

Hey friends. This week has been super rough for me. I got pretty sick yesterday and couldn't keep anything down. I am assuming it is the morning sickness i have heard o so much about. Its just hitting me now, in my 9th week. I had to take off work most of yesterday and then today to recover from the day yesterday. I am getting very worried that if it continues, I will have to take more work off, which is not something i want to be doing. Please pray that the nausea subsides very very soon and that this is all short lived.
Also, it is flu season. my doctor told me that it is very important that i call if i am even just exposed to the flu right now. I am assuming i am going to get the flu shot soon. But, again, i am very nervous about my health over the next 8 months. I know I should be trusting the Lord with all of this, but I am still concerned.
Other than that, I think peanut is doing well. 31 weeks to go!

Peanut Pictures!!!

The doctors appointment yesterday went really well! Its funny how for ONCE in my life i am actually a bit excited to go see the Dr. Usually, I hate it, but this is exciting.
So, here is the first view of the little sweetie. I cant really even figure out what is what. But, all I know is that this a side view. The left is the head, the right is the body. About the same size. haa. We could see the little heart beating, and we heard it, which was so amazing. I thought for sure I would start crying, but I didnt until we toured the labor and delivery room. The hospital is SO nice, and the delivery rooms looks so comfortable. All rooms are private, and the baby gets to stay in there the whole time, while nurses come to take care of us both. It became a little real when I saw the place where I would first see our baby. :)
ps..you can click on the pictre to see a bigger view!

THIS next picture, is how we first found out! 4 weeks ago! i had to take 2 just to make sure, then i took another one that was digital that said' PREGNANT'.

So, I read about pregnancy just about every day online. At least a little somethin. Today, i found a picture online of what my baby just MIGHT look like right now....

Pretty amazing, huh. That is the approximate size. Our first sonogram tomorrow and we just might see some pics. Not sure. im looking forward to it though!

Look at her/him grow! :)
Baby is growing at a rapid pace. pretty neat to think about. Has limbs, heart, brain, and some facial features. I am feeling fine these days. I get a little queezy off and on, but, no pukey yet. I am very thankful for that. :) yay. I am pretty exhausted at the end of the day still, and that seems to be something that will just be happening for the next 8 months. I will be in Week 8 next week. Over half way through the first trimester. This coming Friday, Craig and I will have our first sonogram. Hear the heart beat and maybe see a little body floating around.
Iwill update, possibly with pictures!
Love you.
